Paris Spring Couture Week
I was not at any of these fashion shows (obviously), but I did get to see a lot of pieces through social media. So I thought I should share some of the looks I loved the most!
*disclaimer: none of these pictures are mine, I found most of them on tumblr, twitter, and other websites!
Chanel:
I'm gonna talk about Chanel's collection first. It's definitely very classic Chanel for the most part, but it works. I found lot's of the classic suits that I liked as well as a few dresses (I especially loved the dresses with the full skirts). I saw a lot of glitzy details in this collection.
Chanel
Atelier Versace:
Definitely a different feel from Chanel. This collection is very edgy and modern. Also the way the texture looks as well as the structure on all of these dresses is just amazing.
Atelier Versace
Dior:
Honestly, this might be my favorite collection. It's so ethereal and pretty, but still very unique and something I would not expect from Dior.
Also, the set they used looks absolutely stunning, I can't even imagine how it looked in person! This show & collection makes me think of woodland fairies and other creatures from fairy tales.
Dior
Ellie Saab:
My inner girly-girl just can't help but adore Elie Saab. I adore the glitzy embroidery and the sheer fabrics. All of these designs have a very regal aesthetic to them.
Elie Saab
Giambattista Valli:
Even just looking at these photos, you can imagine how these dresses would have moved on the runway. I also really liked that their models had very minimal makeup and pulled back hair, that way all the concentration is on the designs.

Givenchy:
All of these designs are just so unique but at the same time very chic!

Guo Pei:
Guo Pei has always had such interesting and artistic designs. Whenever I think about "couture" these are the kind of pieces I tend to think of. These designs are more art pieces instead of something that you can wear everyday. This collection does have a regal feel to it, but rather than being really pretty and girly like Elie Saab, it has an eerie essence to it.

Ralph & Russo:
Another collection of absolutely stunning dresses. There's a mixture of sleek, sophisticated designs and more girly and pretty ones.
Ralph & Russo
Zuhair Murad:
Super beautiful collection with lots of sparkly details! I also really love the extravagant ruffle details on all of them. I definitely can see some of these making an appearance on the red carpet!
